Deputy Governor of Lamphun Province, together with Chief Executive of the PAO and Chiang Mai University held public hearing for development of WtE project and local residents and stakeholders for the project were participated in.
Public Hearing was an opportunity for the participants to express opinions and suggestions on integrated waste management stated in the Lamphun Provincial Development Plan (2018-2022), revision with updated amount of waste & capability in 2022 and Guidelines for Waste Management in Lamphun Province.
Comments collected from the public hearing will be recorded and considered for approval of land area use by planning committee of the Lamphun Provincial Government Center, as well as approval from the local council in the area, which will be used as a supporting document to have permission for land area use from the province.
