The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) held a signing ceremony between FTI and Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) to operate a carbon credit trading center, and the launch ceremony of the Clean Energy and Carbon Credit Trading Platform or FTI: CC/RE/REC X Platform (FTIX).
FTI and TGO are in cooperation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions continuously, and therefore, both parties reached to a consensus to develop a carbon credit trading platform to support the implementation of greenhouse gas reduction projects and carbon credit trading.
FTI has developed and managed the FTIX platform to be linked to the TGO's system to operate as a trading center of carbon credit, renewable energy, and the renewable energy certificate (REC) for business operators need to utilize 100% renewable energy (RE100).
The FTI proposed FTIX platform to the ERC Sandbox phase 2 of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to test transparency and reliability of the trading platform for small, medium, and large businesses.
